Forever Pets Expo — the ultimate family day out

Forever Pets Expo, in association with the MSPCA Dog Show, will bring tail wagging fun to the centre stage at the Royal Theatre, Castlebar, on Sunday July 1 for the Forever Pets Expo, which promises to be a great day for the whole family including your dog.

Following the success of last year’s dog show, this year’s event will be even bigger and better. With up to 40 exhibitors, the theatre floor will be transformed into a haven for pet lovers of all kinds, from vets and dog trainers to pet stores and accessories.

Last year’s event focused solely on dogs, this year, it will be about all animals, furry, four legged, winged or scaly, and will showcase exhibitors for every kind of family pet.

There will also be a photography studio on hand, so it is a great chance to get that professional portrait of you with your best friend, and to take home a great memory that will last a lifetime.

The expo is again hosted in conjunction with the Mayo Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, so all support is greatly appreciated. There will be novelty dog shows, demonstrations, talks from the experts, and much more going on. In addition to all the exhibition stands and entertainment, this event focuses on the welfare of animals.

The MSPCA will be on hand at the Rescue Row area of the show and will feature dogs from the MSPCA, many who will be looking for new homes. MSPCA members will also be available to chat to anyone interested or looking for more information on how they can go about rescuing one of the many animals the group takes in throughout the year.

Special attractions and other events include: bouncy castles, face painting, puppet shows and much, much, more.

It is a great day’s entertainment that will carry on until 6pm.
