Castlebar Open Forum to help get Castlebar moving

The next Castlebar Chamber open forum will take place on April 26 at the Harlequin Hotel at 6.30pm.

The guest speaker on the night will be Seamus Granahan, town manager, who will speak on what is happening with the town council and plans for the future.

Up for discussion on the night will be a review of the results from the survey for the last open forum – and some of its surprising findings.

The networking events calendar will also be published – it is hoped there will be five key networking events for the rest of 2012 – all with a national key speaker.

One of the most fundamental activities of any chamber is policy on major issues affecting local businesses. The open forum will give an opportunity for members and non-members to contribute and have their voice heard.

Chamber networking events provide a forum for meeting new business contacts and business leaders which allows you to increase your business profile, which can lead to sales and generation of leads.

The most important item on the agenda will be the open forum for comments and ideas to help get Castlebar moving.
