New Year New Career at The National School of Remedial Therapy

Are you looking for a career in sports or thinking of changing your career path? If so, The National School for Remedial Therapy could be the place for you. Founded by Dave and Tina Corcoran, the school with locations in Dublin and Galway boasts 99.9 per cent of its graduates going on to full time employment.

One recent graduate, Jenny Kelly, currently works on a mobile basis visiting clients homes and also works with the NUIG Rowing Club and has volunteered for events including the COPE triathlon, the Croí Inishbofin Half Marathon and the Ironman 70.3.

As an athlete Jenny had a general curiosity in sports massage and was interested in understanding how sports and movement affect the body. She studied the course in Sports and Remedial Massage Therapy and has not looked back since.

The course runs on a part-time basis, one weekend a month for 12 months.

Jenny adds: “The best part was the enthusiasm of both Dave and Tina Corcoran who run the course and of our tutors Pat Evans and Austin Bradshaw, whose knowledge is expansive.”

In the future Jenny hopes to have her own successful clinic.

School founder, Dave Corcoran, said: “Knowing our graduates have become so successful is very gratifying and inspires me to continue teaching.”
