Mayo General Hospital to become smoke free zone

As part of Mayo General Hospital’s commitment to become a smoke free campus in 2012, smoking will no longer be permitted at the hospital entrance, the emergency department entrance, and entrance to the 1930s building from Monday January 9.

These locations will be marked with a blue line and there will be signs in place to remind visitors and patients that smoking is not permitted.
