South Mayo Harriers Hunt Club announced its new team of officers for the 2011 to 2012 season at its AGM in the Westport Woods Hotel last week. Michael Lennon was appointed as chairman, Michael Regan as treasurer, and Leslie Shearer as secretary.
Membership costs are extremely reasonable at just €10 for the under-16s, €20 for adults, and €30 for families.
A series of hunts and treks have been planned for the Westport area. These are: Westport (October 30 ), Bohea (November 30 ), Killawalla (January ), Buckfield (February ), and Westport (March ).
