Four year driving ban for Ballina man

A man who failed to provide a second breath specimen on an intoxilyzer machine was disqualified from driving for four years and fined €500 at Ballina District Court.

On June 17 at 2am, Brian Moran, 11 Tom Clarke Place, Ballina was stopped driving by gardaí and arrested on the suspicion of drink driving.

At Ballina Garda Station, Moran failed to provide a second breath specimen.

The unemployed man, who has eight previous convictions, none for road traffic offences, was convicted, fined, and disqualified by Judge Mary Devins.
