Castlebar Art Club is a new art studio set up to teach both children and adults invaluable art skills through creative and innovative projects which are great fun and really rewarding. Experienced teachers aim to get students working with a variety of materials on lots of different surfaces. Anyone can join the art club, you do not have to be good at drawing as they use various mediums to strengthen and enhance your artistic ability.
As parents themselves the tutors understand the need for your child to be in a safe and friendly environment so the studio has been designed to ensure maximum space and comfort, and small class sizes allows your child to receive undivided attention. Furthermore the teachers have extensive artistic experience of working with children and adults in this setting.
Children’s August summer camps
The August summer camps are run on a weekly basis throughout the month of August with two sessions per day, morning and afternoon.
Children’s art classes
If your child would prefer to do a weekly art class these are running daily throughout the year. These classes commence on Saturday September 3.
Adult art classes
Adult classes are scheduled to run on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 8pm to 10pm. Demand has been high for other times during the week so the art club is looking into increasing these sessions so let the tutors know your time preferences.
