Happy Heart Weekend is just around the corner, May 12 to 14, and Mayo volunteers are gearing up to paint their town red with happy hearts to help raise vital funds for the Irish Heart Foundation.
Mayor of Ballina, Councillor Frances McAndrew, was on hand to purchase the first Happy Heart of 2011, from Lidl Ballina, to lend her support to the campaign.
