A new community radio station for Westport — West Coast FM — is expected to launch in early summer, according to West Coast’s Michael Kelly.
Michael said that the station is here to serve the community and its many different groups and organisations. “The wonderful thing about radio is its immediacy, and that is a very new concept for the town and its surrounding areas and now is the time for the community to start thinking of how we can help them and their organisations no matter how big or small.” www.westcoastfm.com
