Claremorris tag rugby blitz
The tag rugby season is coming to a close and to finish on a high note, the Claremorris Colts RFC are organising a one-day tag blitz at the convent pitch tomorrow, Saturday September 4. The blitz will be all about fun and there’ll be a barbecue later that evening in Hanley’s Bar.
Participants will be asked to pay €10 each to enter and teams will literally be picked out of a hat on the day (in front of everyone ) to ensure that the emphasis is on fun. A great day and night is guaranteed. Participants are asked to arrive at the pitch at 12.30pm on Saturday to allow time for entry and picking teams. Games will get under way at 1pm. The blitz will operate in league format and all teams will play a minimum of four games before the knock-out stages. The blitz is expected to continue until approximately 5pm, with the barbecue getting underway out the back of Hanley’s Bar at 6pm.
