Off the boat

The work of French artist Francois Gunning is now on display in the Museum Café. There are 10 works in the exhibition, each made from, or using, materials gathered from the sea-shore. They comprise paintings on wreckage, mosaics of sea shells, and nettings and ropes woven together. The exhibition runs until September 12.

The museum is open from 10am to 5pm, Tuesday to Saturday and from 2pm to 5pm on Sundays. It is closed on Mondays including bank holidays. For more information you can call the museum on 094 9031755.
