Living history and garden tour

At the Museum of Country Life, Turlough, a number of exciting activities will take place this month.

On Wednesday July 28 from 11am to 4pm, objects and stories from the past will be presented by a group of older people in an exhibition called The Way We Were.

On Saturday July 31 from 11am to 4pm, a demonstration from the Connacht Textile Crafters will take place.

On Sunday August 1 from 2.30pm to 3.30pm a garden tour, with garden restoration supervisor Noreen Hennigan of Mayo County Council, will lead a guided walk of the grounds of Turlough Park House.

Join the members of the Irish Living History Players for an insight into life in Ireland during the 1890s on Thursday August 5 from 11am to 4pm.
