The countdown is on for community groups in Mayo to apply for energy grants from the Bord Gáis Energy Community Energy Fund. Bord Gáis Energy has issued a final call for applications to all local Not-For-Profit organisations as the closing date for applications to the Community Energy Fund is fast approaching.
To mark reaching one million customers, €100,000 in energy grants will be made available by Bord Gáis Energy. Sixteen grants of energy will be awarded to successful applicants of the Community Energy Fund, one of €25,000, five of €10,000, and 10 of €2,500. All applications must be submitted by Wednesday June 16.
Bord Gáis Energy is encouraging community projects across the country to avail of this unique opportunity. To apply for a grant a short application form must be completed, which can be obtained from local public libraries nationwide or downloaded from www.bordgaisenergy.ie
