The work being carried out on the rejuvenation of Castlebar is moving at a Dad’s Army pace according to one Castlebar town councillor.
Independent councillor Frank Durcan made the comparison at the monthly meeting of Castlebar Town Council last week as the first stage of the programme at the junction of Ellison Street and The Mall seemed to be moving at very slow progress.
