Mayo County Council’s EXCEL 09, is a developmental programme of arts events for teenagers and young adults across the county. As part of this year’s programme there will be a free Portfolio Preparation Talk, for those who are interested in going to art college, in Ballina on Thursday November 26.
Panel members on the day are: Frank Bissette, who works at the National College of Art and Design; Alice Lyons, a poet and visual artist; and Lizzie Kinsella, an art lecturer in Sligo IT.
There will be two sessions on the day, one at 9.30am and the other at 11.30am. This event takes place at Ballina Arts Centre, Ballina Civic Offices, Arran Place, Ballina.
