What is a stretch ceiling system?
Olmi can offer you a stretch ceiling in many different colours and finishes including matt, satin, lacquered (reflective ), perforated, suede, metallic and translucent (for light diffusion, backlighting, projection ). Effects can be produced with colour changing LED lights.
Recessed lights, chandeliers, track lighting, and fibre optics can easily be incorporated with any of the colours and finishes.
The stretch ceiling can be formed into three-dimensional shapes, suspended from cables, installed wall to wall, or placed as ceiling panels.
It can be printed or painted for additional effects, is entirely waterproof, washable, and is maintenance free, hygienic, and non toxic, antistatic and non-allergic. Installation can be carried out in a few hours and does not require the removal of furniture. The ceiling can be quickly removed and reinstalled with no mess.
Finishes
Lacquered finish is the most popular option for kitchen, living room, bedroom, and bathroom ceilings, as it makes any room appear larger by creating a perception that the roof is higher. Suede finish is widely popular for home office and bedroom ceilings. Translucent ceiling is common for areas where the entire ceiling should be backlit. Satin and matt finishes are most suitable for classic living and dining room ceilings. Metallic and perforated finishes for high tech design can be used within your home or apartment ceilings to achieve special effects.
