The Mayo branch of Birdwatch Ireland is hosting a talk by John Lusby about barn owls in GMIT Castlebar on Wednesday October 7 at 7.30pm.
John Lusby has specialised on studying barn owl ecology for the past five years and he runs the Barn Owl Research Project which is collaboration between BirdWatch Ireland and UCC. His talk will detail the various aspects of the research, some of which was carried out in Mayo, and also look at the future outlook for this iconic species.
The talk is free and all are welcome.
