Danny Morrison will launch Eoin Ó Broin's book Sinn Fein and the Politics of Left Republicanism in Castlebar Library today at 7.30pm.
This is a very important book for anyone interested in history/politics and indeed the future of Ireland in this current economic climate. Ó Broin has done an excellent job in charting Sinn Fein's history and recent development. This book provides us with an interesting reflection on left republicanism in Ireland and looks at the future of Sinn Fein and provides us with a clear picture of what an independent socialist republic might look like.
