This Sunday will see the Mayo Ladies Senior Football Championship reach the semi-final stage after the conclusion of the group stages last weekend.

The four teams left standing are reigning champions Carnacon, Burrishoole, Hollymount and Moy Davitts. The draw has pitted Carnacon against Hollymount and Burrishoole to face Moy Davitts.

Last weekend's final round of group games saw Carnacon beat Moy Davitts comprehensively on a score of 7-9 to 1-12 in group one with both sides still making it out of the group, Carnacon have a 100 per cent record while last weekend's loss was the only one suffered by the east Mayo side at this stage of the competition. At the other end of the group Westport had a 3-11 to 1-8 win over Knockmore which will send the north Mayo girls into the relegation play-off. Waiting for them there are Louisburgh who were beaten 3-16 to 2-10 by Burrishoole in their final group game. That win sealed Burrishoole's place at the top of the standings at the end of the group stages. Hollymount booked their spot in the final four with a 3-10 to 2-12 victory over Swinford Killasser setting them up with clash against Carnacon on Sunday morning.

Also down for decision this weekend is the junior championship where CL McHale Rovers will meet Tuar Mhic Éadaigh in the final. Last weekend the intermediate championship went the way of Kilmoremoy who saw off Kilmovee Shamrocks in dramatic circumstances in the final last Sunday 3-15 to 4-11 win Swinford. Kilmoremoy will be in action in the Connacht championship on Sunday afternoon when they take on St Joseph's from Leitrim at the quarter-final stage at 2pm on Sunday in Ballina.
