Small business to gather at SFA Smart Business Conference

The Small Firms Association Smart Business Conference takes place on Thursday, May 2, 2019, in the Aviva Stadium Dublin 4.

The Smart Business Conference will explore the future of work and how small businesses owners can 'future proof their business against the rise of emerging disruptive technologies'.

At the conference, delegates will hear from Dr Paul Redmond, one of the UK’s leading authorities on generational change and the future of work while the headline sponsor, Vodafone will present a talk about smart working. Delegates will also learn from other small businesses on how they transformed their business models using emerging technologies. A discussion on whether Artificial Intelligence (AI ) is a job changer or job creator will be held and Clare Dillon, Technology Evangelist at Clare Dillon Consulting, will speak on the opportunities presented by the latest trends in technology, from AI to Virtual Reality.

Along with informal networking, the Smart Business Conference will also explore mental health stigma to improve wellness in the workplace in an age of always being switched on.
