What is your name and job?
Denise Chadwick and I am the owner of It’s U hair.
How long have you been in this business?
21 years.
What made you choose this field?
I’ve always wanted to work and style hair so I pursued this career.
What advice would you give someone starting out in this business?
You have to have a passion for the work and a real love for interacting with people.
Favourite hair product at the moment?
Bellami bell air 24, which is a styling product.
Best part of the business?
The people, both the staff and the customers.
What is your biggest ambition?
I’ve wanted to stay open for over 20 years so I suppose my greatest ambition has already worked out!

Kind, thoughtful, hard-working and friendly.
Finally, what is your favourite saying or motto?
We have a motto for the salon itself: “Let us pamper U!”
