SoulPower , The Dirty Circus and Nirvana Tribute band to play in Garbo’s

An exciting line-up of live gigs will take place at Garbo's Castlebar during February and March, starting with The Dirty Circus on Friday February 15, Nirvana Tribute Band (In Bloom ) on Saturday March 2 and SoulPowerLive taking to the stage on Saturday March 16.

The Dirty Circus - Friday February 15

From noted burlesque hotspot Galway, the Dirty Circus features dancers, fire-eaters, clowns, stand-up and 'pole dolleys'. Following performances at a variety of major Irish outdoor events, the Dirty Circus has built a reputation as a one-stop entertainment destination and 'perfect festival fare to boot', according to a Hot Press review. This promises to be a fun and exciting night out. Tickets are €15 on the door with doors opening from 9pm.

Nirvana Tribute (In Bloom ) Saturday March 2

In Bloom are a Nirvana tribute band from Sligo. All members of the band grew up listening to and have been influenced in some way by Nirvana. Tracks range from the familiar to the obscure so you're guaranteed a great show regardless of whether you are a hard core fan or a casual listener. Nirvana Tribute band comes with roaring guitars, melodic bass, thundering drums and angst ridden vocals. In Bloom are not to be missed. Tickets €10 on the door – doors open at 9.30pm

SoulPower Saturday March 16

SoulPower are an Irish soul-funk band, bringing you the best in high-energy soul, funk and disco classics. A unique band, SoulPower also caters for weddings and events where something different is required! The performance is highly rehearsed, fast-paced, and absolutely show-stopping. The band, with both male and female singers and brass section, perform a set list of non-stop, fully live, high-energy soul and funk classics. Local Castlebar man, Michael Oliver Sheridan, is lead singer for this gig. They cover the likes of James Brown, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner, Al Green and more.
