A night for female DJs @ Electric

Gash Collective to host JK Rollin' and Really Bad Mothers

GASH COLLECTIVE, which provides a platform for female-identifying DJs and producers to create, share, and collaborate together in the field of electronica, is coming to Electric.

The collective will host JK Rollin' and Really Bad Mothers in Electric's Factory venue this Saturday from 11pm. From Bray, JK Rollin' (aka Joni ) is originally a classically trained violinist, who has been releasing music as a vocalist since 2012 with producers Richie Kaboogie, Eomac, and The Cyclist. Although relatively new to DJing, she has gained notice with her slot on Dublin Digital Radio and sets at Body and Soul. She spins techno and hardcore, among other genres. Cork's Really Bad Mothers have been gaining recognition for their savvy and slick selections. Expect spacey low end electronica, dubstep, banging techno, and some jungle.

Throughout 2018, Gash Collective plan to host a series of events to shine a light on female-indentifiyng, non-binary, and LGBTQ DJs and producers from Ireland and abroad. Admission is €8/€5.
