Employment law, business management, and coaching skills courses at Western Management Centre

Once again Western Management Centre is running a range of evening and part-time courses starting over the coming weeks.

Employment law is a key consideration for all types of businesses. The employment law course, which the Western Management Centre has been running for the past 12 years, is relevant for anyone owning or managing a business, and all employees. The course is continually updated to reflect ever changing national and international legislation. Topics include employment contracts, equality and diversity, termination of contracts and redundancy issues, health and safety concerns, labour relations institutions, and data protection.

A business management qualification is relevant for any individual in any working environment. Equally is it a valuable course for business owners, managers, and supervisors. The Award in Business Management course, validated by QQI, provides participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to work in today’s fast paced business world.

The Award in Coaching and Mentoring course is accredited by CIPD. Coaching was once the domain of top athletes and sporting teams. It has now been recognised in the business world that coaching is one of the most practical and flexible ways of enabling employees to deal with challenges and changes in the workplace while resulting in improved individual and company performance.
