Bish Rowing Club cake sale

St Joseph’s College, The Bish, Rowing Club is holding its annual Christmas cake sale and coffee morning to raise funds for the club.

The event will be held at St Pat’s primary school on Lombard Street in the city centre, across the road from the Saturday morning market. The cake sale and coffee morning will take place Saturday, December 9, and will run from 10am to 2pm.

There will be a host of activities taking place at the event, including novelty quizzes and a monster raffle, and Elf Eileen will be on hand to wrap gifts while customers enjoy a relaxing tea or coffee and sample some delicious home baked cakes, scones, mince pies and pancakes. There will also be some mulled wine for the adults and hot chocolate for the children.

Everyone is welcome and a particular appeal is being extended to former Bish pupils and oarsmen to come along with their families.

The Bish Rowing Club, one of the most successful in the country, is anticipating a great year on the water in 2018.
