Gardai are appealing for witnesses after a woman was assaulted on the Headford Road last Saturday night.
The woman was assaulted on the Headford Road junction with St Brigids Place (opposite Argos ) on March 7, 2009, between 9.30pm and 10pm.
Anyone with information or who may have seen suspicious activity in this area at the time is being asked to contact Garda Gavin Brown on 091-538000.
Meanwhile, gardai are continuing their investigation into another assault which took place in the car park of AIB Bank on the Tuam Road on Tuesday March 3, 2009. Anyone with information of this assault is being asked to contact Garda Denise Kelleher at Galway Garda Station on 091-538000.
