On Sunday night October 1, at approximately 8pm a road traffic collision occurred at Clooniffe, Moycullen, between a car and a pedestrian.
The accident occurred on the N59, the Galway/ Moycullen Road, near Clooniffe Cross.
Gardaí are appealing for any motorists who were travelling on the N59 Moycullen to Galway Road around this time and may have witnessed the accident or have any information to offer, to Salthill Garda Station on 091 514720.
Gardai are also asking any person who was walking along this roadway around the time of the accident to come forward.
