WC, THE first Irish feature film to be released exclusively via digital cinema and the first feature film to be set in toilets, will be screened in The Eye from tomorrow.

WC is set in and around the male and female toilets of a Dublin jazz bar and concerns the trials and tribulations of two lowly paid toilet attendants as they deal with argumentative customers, an interfering bar manager, hapless losers, and grimy toilets.

The film stars Liam O’Mochain (who also wrote the film and directed it ) and Julia Wakeham (The Tudors ). The music is by Irish jazz great Richie Buckley.

WC has been screened at Cannes, the Galway Film Fleadh, and the Zimbabwe International Film Festival. It won best feature film at the Waterford Film festival and has been invited to screen in the Las Vegas International Film Festival in April.

Liam O’Mochain and two of the actors in the film will attend a screening in The Eye this wekedn and do Q&A with the audience.
