'Home Is Where The Heart Is' for Sean Keane

Singer to perform three concerts in aid of local organisations

Sean Keane will be performing three special concerts in the Salthill Hotel that will benefit three local organisations. These form part of a series of concerts he will embark on for the coming years up to 2020. Galway has been very special place in his musical development and a new song entitled 'Galway I'm Missing You' will be released to coincide with these concerts.

The new song co-written by Sean and Iggy and Johnny B Broderick has a nostalgic feel about the music scene in Galway in his youth. The three organisations that will benefit are Galway Comhaltas, MS Ireland, and Galway Ability West. Children from Galway Comhaltas will be given the opportunity to join Keane on stage at his three concerts.

Peadar Brick, chairman of Galway Comhaltas, said: "This is an very generous gesture by a Galway legend. The children are already looking forward to sharing the stage with this accomplished musician and singer."

It is hoped that 12 different charities will benefit from the 'Home Is Where The Heart Is' series in the coming years. Tickets can be purchased from www.eventbrite.ie or from any of the three organisations and at the Salthill Hotel.

Concert dates are Thursday July 20, July 27, and August 24.
