Amelia Curran to play Monroe’s

Juno Award winning singer, songwriter, activist, and mental health advocate, returns to Galway

AMELIA CURRAN, the Juno Award winning singer, songwriter, activist, and mental health advocate, makes a return visit to Galway, to play Monroe's Backstage Bar on Saturday June 24 at 7pm.

Curran, from St Johns in Newfoundland, is currently touring her new album Watershed, which focuses on openness and is a reflection of her increasingly public efforts to battle the stigma of mental health issues in the arts. The Canadian's music is distinguished by her intricate and elliptical lyrics, geologic in their resilience and oceanic in their depths.

Tickets are €10 from www.monroes.ie and www.ticketmaster.ie
