The local Multiple Sclerosis Society will hold information and support meetings at its western regional office at Roxboro House, Raleigh Row, on Friday March 13 from 11am to 1pm and at the Shearwater Plaza Hotel, Ballinasloe, on Wednesday March 11 from 11am to 1pm.
The events are to coincide with National Brain Awareness Week which takes place from March 9 to 15.
The theme of week is the impact of neurological conditions on carers, families and individuals.
A spokesperson for the local branch of MS Ireland says the society and all neurological organisations are asking carers and those they care for, to speak about their experiences and views on caring.
“On this occasion the MS Society is hosting a number of information and support sessions in the west of Ireland. Everyone is very welcome. Information, support and refreshments will be available.”
