DNG Maxwell Heaslip & Leonard full steam ahead for March auctions

With the first of 2017’s auctions drawing near, the auction team at DNG Maxwell Heaslip & Leonard are on the home run and busying themselves with open viewings, running orders, and contract requests – all elements of the build-up to auction week which sees the pace of activity in the St Francis Street offices automatically increase.

“Our process is well-rehearsed at this stage," said James Heaslip MIPAV, director of auctions with DNG Maxwell Heaslip & Leonard. “We usually do have the odd last minute problem – but that’s all part of it. The whole office gets involved in auction week making sure everything is looked after in advance – this is pivotal to our success on the day.”

The company has been holding open viewings on many of the lots going under the hammer on Thursday March 2. Open viewings continue this weekend and right up until Wednesday, the day before the auction. “We have sold properties where the purchasers have viewed the properties for the first time on the morning of the auction and have decided to take a punt at auction, so we will always do our best to accommodate last minute viewings,” said Heaslip. “Our open viewings over the past number of weeks have brought a steady flow of viewers to the majority of the properties which is always a good indication.” The spring auction features properties from Donegal to Clare with properties in Galway city and county, and counties Donegal, Roscommon, Leitrim, and Clare.
