New Spanish courses starting soon at the Spanish Institute

The new term at The Spanish Institute is starting on February 6 and offers Spanish lessons to all ages at a variety of levels, from beginner to advanced. The new schedule for spring 2017 is available on and The Spanish Institute’s Facebook page.

This modern and well equipped study centre, along with a team of qualified, native, teachers, provides a friendly learning environment in which students are encouraged to learn through interacting with one another.

Spanish is by far one of the world's most popular languages, and with 500 million speakers worldwide across 44 countries on five continents, it is easy to see why. Many Irish people regularly make leisure or business trips to Spain and Latin America, and enjoy the Spanish culture and food that is so popular in Galway, due to our shared historical connections. The Spanish Institute hopes to celebrate and preserve this connection and encourages local people to enjoy the Spanish language and culture, through its language courses and events including tapas evenings, salsa nights, and immersion trips.

The Spanish Institute is focused on becoming the centre of the Spanish language and Hispanic culture in Galway. One of its goals this year is to organise immersion trips to Spain and Latin America. This can be done through exchanges or travel packages which include classes in the morning and extra activities in the afternoon.
