A Feast of scuzz rock with Animal Lover

North Dakota trio to play next FEAST gig

FULL OF buzz-saw guitars and throbbing rhythm, and drawing on the legacy of NoMeansNo, Shellac, Fugazi, North Dakota’s Animal Lover are coming to Galway to play the next Feast gig.

The trio will bring their noisy, loud and aggressive, yet thoughtful, scuzz rock to Áras na nGael, this Saturday, from 9pm. The band also have a new album out, entitled Stay Alive. Shaina Vriezelaar in Post-Trash.com, called it "a beautiful post-punk mess of rollicking drums, closed-loop bass lines, and waves of aggressive dirt-pedal guitar.”

Also on the bill are Half Forward Line and Galway band Ilenkus, who's new EP, Hunger, is steraming now on https://soundcloud.com/ilenkus/sets/hunger. There will also be special guests. Admission is €5.
