Brigit’s Garden wins national award

Brigit’s Garden in Roscahill has been honoured with the ‘Family-Friendly Destination of the Year’ award for 2017 from Georgina Campbell’s Ireland.

These prestigious national awards reward the best in Ireland for outstanding standards of hospitality and food. The award describes Brigit’s Garden as “an unusual destination with true multi-generational appeal that includes good food but is about much more… a place where fairy tales are real, a space for children who never grew up.”

“We are delighted to receive this award”, said Brigit’s Garden Director Jenny Beale. “This is a wonderful recognition of the high quality experience we offer both adults and children in the Celtic Gardens and Garden Café. It is especially important to us to provide fun experiences in a natural setting for children in today’s increasingly technical world, so this award is a great boost.”

Brigit’s Garden is a not-for-profit organisation on a beautiful 11-acre site.

The Gardens are open all year round and also provide a lively programme of family-friendly events, including a Halloween celebration on October 30 and a magical Santa show for Christmas. For further information see www.brigitsgarden.ie
