Róisín Dubh Comedy Clubh presents McSavage: Dreams Of Murder

Comedian David McSavage is one of Ireland’s most cutting edge comedians. In his brand new show, coming to the Róisín Dubh Comedy Clubh on Friday August 19, he looks at the benefits of yoga and his love for Daniel O’Donnell.

He recounts tales of his own life with a level of honesty and acerbic observation, but other people’s lives are not safe from his grasp either. His truth filled commentary and performance leave no stone unturned, no cow is sacred. All will come out when he dispatches his own verbal hand grenades.

David McSavage is a regular guest on all major TV and radio shows in Ireland. For many years he has appeared at all the major comedy festivals, including Edinburgh Festival and festivals in Australia, Germany, and Scandinavia.

In 2009, he devised, wrote and starred in the six-part TV series, The Savage Eye for RTÉ. The show has been critically acclaimed and was nominated for an IFTA award for Best Entertainment Series and Best Director. There were four series filmed by RTÉ 2 until 2014 when he ran out things to talk about.

Tickets are available at €12.50 Róisín Dubh and OMG Shop Street. Tickets are also available online at roisindubh.net for €10. Doors will open at 8.30pm and the show begtins at 9pm.
