GTI Student Exhibition 2016

DRAWING, FURNITURE, plans for animations, and other art and craftworks will be on display from GTI art and design students, at the Dominican sports hall, behind the Claddagh Church

The exhibition features work by students from the Art: Portfolio Preparation Level 5; Drawing & Visual Inquiry Level 6; Animation Level 6; and Furniture Making and Design Level 5 groups. On display will be sketchbooks to leaf through; a handmade book which serves as a catalogue for work by animation students; while furniture design students will display tables, chairs, hand crafted items, upholstery, lamps, and works from recycled material.

Sixteen GTI students went go to Finland this year on ERASMUS+ projects and some of their journals will be on display, while two Finnish ERASMUS+ students will exhibit at the GTI exhibition.

The exhibition opens tomorrow and runs until Wednesday May 25 (excluding Sunday ) from 10am to 4pm. See
