THE GALWAY Actors Workshop has added two new evening courses, for both beginners and more advanced adult acting students, which begin towards the end of this month.
Introduction to Acting (Mondays, 6.30pm to 8.30pm, running 12 weeks, starts February 29 ) is for beginners or those who have not acted in a while. The course covers games, exercises, and improvisation, developing confidence, and learning how to create characters and settings.
The Advanced Performance Project (Wednesdays, 6.30pm to 9.30pm, running 12 weeks, starts March 2 is by application only and is for students with some experience who would like to take part in a full-length production of a play which will be shown in a Galway theatre. Those interested should send an email outlining their experience to [email protected] by February 19.
