David O'Doherty returns to Town Hall in May

TO MISQUOTE Oscar Wilde, we are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at David O'Doherty. It is not so much a misquote, as the name of the new show by the great keyboard wielding comic.

David O'Doherty makes a welcome return to Galway, with We Are All in the Gutter, But Some of Us Are Looking at David O'Doherty, for a 'Róisín Dubh Comedy presents...' event at the Town Hall Theatre on Friday May 13 at 8pm.

In the show, David will disprove Forrest Gumps theory, and explain that while, yes, life is like a box of chocolates, it is "one where somebody else has eaten all the chocolates. And replaced them with mouse heads and dishwasher tablets".

Tickets are available from the Róisín Dubh; OMG, Shop Street; roisindubh.net, and the Town Hall (091 - 569777, www.tht.ie ).
