Blues guitarist Chaz dePaolo returns to Galway

CHAZ DEPAOLO, the brilliant and much admired, American blues guitar virtuoso, makes a long overdue return to Galway, to play Monroe’s Live on Thursday February 11 at 9.30pm.

Chaz, who supported blues legend Buddy Guy's at his memorable Galway Arts Festival concert in 2005, has toured with British blues-rock legends The Groundhogs as his backing band; played with Jimi Hendrix drummer Buddy Miles, as well as Jose Feliciano, Thin Lizzy's Brian Downey, and Monster Mike Welch. He has been inducted into the New York State Blues Hall of Fame, and headlined BB King's Club in Times Square, Manhattan, in 2015.

Blues Matters magazine said: "This man can develop into one of the most exciting talents in the 21st century.” Chaz is currently working on a new album, entitled Serendipity.
