Pádraig Spillane exhibits at 126

DESIRE AND intimacy is explored in a new exhibition, Shills, by Pádraig Spillane which is currently running in the 126 Gallery, Flood Street.

Spillane utilises diverse representational processes and arrangements to explore ideas regarding desires and intimacies. His works connect image generation and appropriation with 3D stagings. This allows the works to take on anthropomorphic appearances. The exhibition is accompanied by a text by Sarah Hayden, lecturer in 20th and 21st century American literature and culture at the University of Southampton.

The exhibition is presented by Engage Art Studios and curated by Shelly McDonnell. 126 is open Mondays to Saturdays, from 12 noon to 6pm. It runs until Sunday January 24. See www.engageartstudios.com, www.126.ie, and www.padraigspillane.ie
