Three Tenors to sing at Galway Cathedral

THE THREE Tenors, the much loved light classical trio of Ray O’Hare, Dominic McGorian, and Derek Moloney, will sing from the altar of the Galway Cathedral on Friday December 18 at 8pm.

This 'Christmas special' concert will see the tenors joined by violinist Maria Mason and the Scoil Íde Choir from Salthill. There will be performances of 'Panis Angelicus', 'How Great Thou Art', 'Ave Maria', 'The Prayer', 'I Believe', 'I'll Walk With God', 'O Holy Night', 'Silent Night', 'When A Child is Born', 'Nessun Dorma', Leonard Cohen's 'Hallelujah', and Sinatra's 'My Way'.

Tickets are €25 from OMG@Zhivago, Shop Street (091 - 509960 ) and from the Cathedral Bookshop and parish office. The tenors will be back in Galway on Saturday February 13 at the Town Hall Theatre, with special guest, the young Galway singer, Aimee Banks.
