Italian cuisine is renowned the world over and those who love Italian food and wine, and who would love to learn to speak Italian are in for a treat next week.
The Granary Learning Centre and Sheridan’s Wine Bar will hold an Italian evening at Sheridan’s wine bar, Church Yard Street, on Friday February 13 from 6pm to 7.30pm.
There will be wine tasting, led by an Italian wine expert, a sampling of cheeses and other delicacies provided by Sheridan’s, and the chance to win prizes.
The Granary Learning Centre is offering a first prize of a free place on its next Italian course. Second is a weekend return flight to Italy, and third prize is a voucher for two week attendance at the new Italian class.
“We all know the Italian language is beautiful,” said Phil James director of the Granary Learning Centre, “but not enough of us know how to speak it. We want more people to learn Italian and be able to enjoy even more of the delights of the country through the language.”
The Granary is announcing a new short term of one hour classes for eight weeks in late February for €120. For more information contact 091 - 566759 or go to www.granarylearning.ie
