Galway Glamour takes to the stage tonight

Top stylists from award winning salons Koztello’s and Kozzy’s and make-up artists from Matt O Flaherty’s Chemist will be on hand to advise and demonstrate this season’s style tricks at the Galway Glamour Fashion Show taking place tonight (Thursday ) at the g Hotel in aid of Hope for Cian.

After seasons of loose waves and bare-faced beauty, a newly grown-up take on hair and make-up is here for autumn/winter 2015.

Fresh spins on the up-do, a move towards a more luxurious, expensive look and the return of lip gloss all speak of a new chapter in beauty … hip hip hooray!

What else can we expect from this season? Big belts, capes, fun fur, pleats, statement shoes and fluffy beards! You’ll see it all on the runway tonight, the finest Galway Glamour for men and women, presented by well-known TV presenter and local girl Sile Seoige.

Doors open at 7.15pm, with drinks and canapes while experts from Galway Shopping Centre stores showcase the latest products in healthcare, beauty, nutrition and fashion in a relaxed and friendly environment. The Fashion Show, includes 14 leading national, international and local brands with everything from accessories, clothing to must have glasses.

This evening’s show will be held in memory of Cian McDonnell Lynch, who sadly lost his brave battle with Dyskeratosis Congenita. Cian’s family had set up a charity ‘Hope for Cian’ to raise the $1million needed for a lung transplant. Unfortunately it was not to be for Cian, but the charity has brought this rare disease to light and all proceeds from both the ticket sales and the raffle will be donated to the charity and used for research into the disease and care for other sufferers.

Raffle prizes include a weekend for 2 at the five-star Lough Eske, a complete makeover, the full outfit of your choice from this evening’s show, No.7 Skincare luxury collection worth €150, Designer Glasses and so much more.

Tickets on sale at the door, 7.15pm tonight. For more information on participants please visit www.galwaysc.com
