Faulty Towers - the Dining Experience is back

Hit show returns to the Vodafone Comedy Carnival Galway

"A GIN and orange, a lemon squash, and a scotch and water please!" Ordering this at Faulty Towers may require you to repeat it numerous times, increasingly in a raised voice, and at risk from assault by the hotel manager, and when it comes to dinner, don't forget - Duck's off!

A hit when it was first staged in the city, and now a much loved and annual institution at the Vodafone Comedy Carnival Galway, Interactive Theatre International's multi award winning Faulty Towers - The Dining Experience returns to the festival and The Salthill Hotel on Sunday October 25.

Absolutely anything can happen as Basil, Sybil, and Manuel serve guests a sumptuous three course dinner in their ‘Faulty Towers’ restaurant. On the menu: all the best gags form the legendary British sitcom Fawlty Towers, shambolic service, and a fully immersive, highly improvised, and site-specific comedy theatre. The British Theatre Guide has called it "a delicious feast… an absolute hoot!"; The Manchester Evening News called it "a gale force frenzy of chaos and comedy… a truly original comedy experience"; while The Daily Telegraph described it as "a two-hour eat, drink and laugh sensation!".

The Faulty Towers - The Dining Experience was born in Brisbane in 1997 and made its international debut in 2008 at the Edinburgh Fringe, where it has sold out every year since. It first came to Ireland in 2009 where it has met with similar success in venues across the country.
