Marc Roberts to perform John Denver tribute

MARC ROBERTS' tribute show to John Denver, a multimedia journey through the singer-songwriter's life and music, which has won critical acclaim and toured internationally, returns to the Town Hall Theatre on Friday September 25 at 8pm.

Marc is a respected singer-songwriter who has collaborated with Brian Kennedy, Charlie McGettigan, Jimmy MacCarthy, Grammy Nominee Billy Yates, and, most notably, with Daniel O'Donnell. With Daniel he has co-written and recorded 15 songs, a number of which have been Top 20 hits in Britain.

For this show, Marc will tell the life story, and sing the songs of the man born Henry John Deutschendorf, so audiences can expect to hear such classics as 'Annie's Song', 'Leaving On A Jet Plane', 'Take Me Home Country Roads', 'Calypso', and 'Thank God I'm A Country Boy'. The show has been a huge success in Ireland and has toured Britain, Germany, Australia, and Denver's hometown Colorado. Marc will be in Colorado in October to perform at the second annual John Denver Tribute Festival 2015 in Aspen. Earlier this year Marc was a special guest on the Mike Denver Nationwide Concert Tour.
