‘Meet the Buyer’ events for primary care centres projects

Suppliers or contractors wishing to work on new primary care units are invited to attend a number of meetings in Ireland next month.

JJ Rhatigan & Company, Balfour Beatty, and Aramark, as part of the Prime Balfour Beatty Consortium, are hosting a number of ‘Meet the Buyer’ events for the Primary Care Centres PPP Programme.

The programme will see the delivery of 14 primary care centres nationwide from Boyle, Ballymote and Sligo to Waterford and Dublin.

The centres will include accommodation for primary care team services, including general practitioner services. In addition a number of centres will include a wider range of community based services including dental services, community mental health services, child and adolescent mental health services, etc.

The events, which are being run in partnership with the NDFA, HSE and Enterprise Ireland, are taking place in Claremorris, Dublin and Waterford in September 2015.

Local procurement and promoting supply chain opportunities to SMEs and social enterprises that are particularly interested in engaging with these projects is key. The procurement team is looking for suppliers and sub-contractors across a range of categories, including carpentry, cladding, facilities management services, flooring, plastering, landscaping, tiling, plumbing and sanitary ware and accessories.

Ger Ronayne, director at JJ Rhatigan & Company, said the events are a great opportunity for local suppliers and sub-contractors to meet with the procurement teams face to face and understand how they can successfully compete for work to deliver these primary care centres that will ultimately enhance local communities.

The events are taking place at The Red Cow Moran Hotel, Dublin,  September 15,  The Tower Hotel, Waterford September 16, and McWilliam Park Hotel, Claremorris September  18.  Suppliers or sub-contractors wishing to attend are asked to register their interest online at www.jjrhatigan.com For further enquiries email, [email protected]" [email protected] or 091 580878.
