Medieval Banquet at the Loughrea Hotel and Spa to open Medieval Festival

Loughrea will once again transform into a bustling medieval town for the 2nd Annual Award Winning Loughrea Medieval Festival, on August 28-30. Celebrate this years ‘Gathering of the Clans’ festival, packed full of family fun, cultural and heritage events.

Forming part of the Loughrea’s 2nd Medieval Festival ‘Gathering of the Clans’ The Lough Rea Hotel & Spa will welcome guests from the four corners of the world for an evening of medieval inspired food and fine wines, merriment, music, and entertainment at the Medieval Clan Banquet on Friday August 28.

The evening begins at 7pm with a drinks reception, and entertainment.While partaking of a sumptuous five course banquet with fine wines, enjoy medieval inspired songs from soprano Mary Flaherty, medieval dance from the revellers, and music from Traditional Irish Musicians.

This is a banquet and show is not to be missed. Fancy dress is welcome, with prizes for best dressed on the night.
