The Discipline of Marketing in the J.E. Cairnes School of Business and Economics at NUI Galway has recently launched a suite of specialised one-year taught MSc Marketing programmes.
They are aimed at business and non-business graduates who aspire to challenging career opportunities in the marketing profession. Programmes available include Masters in: Marketing Management; International Marketing and Exporting; Digital Marketing; Professional Selling and Sales Management; and Technology and Innovation Marketing.
Dr Declan Fleming, Programmes Director at NUI Galway, said: “These programmes were developed to reflect the dynamic and technologically innovative nature of contemporary marketing, spanning both private and public sectors. Students are prepared for a business environment that is experiencing rapid economic and technological change, increasing cultural diversity, institutional integration and globalisation. The programmes develop the students’ knowledge and critical understanding of marketing to an advanced level and to cultivate a comprehensive range of applied and analytical skills in marketing and business.”
Within the programmes there is a strong emphasis on strategic decision-making, socially responsible marketing, and the role of marketing within society. Students will be exposed to the latest cutting-edge ideas, techniques and marketing frameworks through the analysis of industry best practice.
