Little Shop of Horrors - as you’ve never seen it before

A musical / theatre / cinema experience @ GIAF 2015

YOU MAY have seen Roger Corman’s 1960 film Little Shop of Horrors, but when it plays at the Galway International Arts Festival this month, you will never have seen it done like this before.

The film will be screened At the Bailey Allen Hall, NUI Galway, while four performers - Hayley Sproull, Byron Coll, Laughton Kora, and Barnie Duncan - work at break-neck speed to re-voice multiple characters in perfect lip sync, at the same time playing a new score, and creating live sound effects. The show was created and composed by Leon Radojkovic and is directed by Oliver Driver.

Presented by New Zealand's Live Live Cinema, it opened to critical acclaim there earlier this year with the New Zealand Herald describing it as "exhilarating".

The show is suitable for families. It takes place on Tuesday July 21 and Wednesday 22 at 8pm and Thursday 23 at 11pm. See www.giaf.ie
